Introduction - DFD Spectral archive
The DLR-DFD Spectral archive has been launched with an intention to provide universal tool for archiving, managing and using
spectral signals collected from
a variety of projects and measuring campaigns in the field and/or in the laboratory. The objectives are standardized archiving
of spectra, high degree of transparency due
to the provision of metadata, provision of data for other projects within the DFD and prevention of loss of valuable data
acquired during complex measuring
campaigns. Every registered Spectral Archive user can use the Spectral Archive. Within the archive spectra and records can
be browsed, searched, viewed, edited and
entered (some functions require registration). All data can be also exported for further use.
The following spectral measurements can be integrated:
- field spectral measurements
- measurements acquired in the laboratory
- BRDF spectral measurements.
To start browsing the database select 'List database' from the navigation menu. More info about the spectral arichive
and advice on the functionality can be found under 'Help' in the navigation menu.
Important: make sure you read the General convention and User policy before you start using the archive. Follow
